About Club 180 Ministry
Our Story
Our story began over 25 years ago, as God called Terry into Ministry while on a Mission trip to the Philippines. We began praying together as a family that God would navigate our steps to where He was calling us. Three years later, God brought us to the mountains of Eastern Kentucky. A small coal mining town deserted by big coal companies, struggling to regain hope.
For us, this journey to Cumberland, Kentucky, was a leap of faith guided by a call to share Christ, disciple young people and help bring hope back to an area that needs Jesus! Known for its beautiful mountains and even more resilient people, we knew God was leading us here not just to start a non-profit, but to plant our lives in the soil and build a community of hope.
After being here for 20 years now, and as we celebrate this milestone anniversary, we look back at the 1000's of young lives changed for eternity, the countless meals we've served, the numerous games played, and the generations of Discipleship taken place in this Community through Club 180 Ministry. We are as committed today as we were the day we moved here, to be a light and to help every child or adult who walk through our doors experience a "180" transformation!

Mission Scripture
The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord has anointed me to preach good news to the poor; he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; To proclaim the year of the Lord's favor, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn, To grant to them that mourn in Zion, to give them a beautiful headdress instead of ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise instead of a faint spirit; that they may be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified. Isaiah 61: 1-3
What does "Have you done your 180" mean?
Acts 3:19-20 says, "Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord, and that he may send the Messiah, who has been appointed for you - even Jesus."
In a physical sense, the word "repent" means, a total change of direction. So if you are walking your own path, doing your own thing, but you turn, or repent, and do a "180", you will be walking and moving in the direction of God.
